Smart Horticulture project at Rwanda Best

SMART Horticulture is an initiative of the Netherlands in which both public, learning institutions, and private sector joined forces to support Rwanda in developing a competitive and innovative horticulture sector. SMART Horticulture is subsidized 50% by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The project is part of PPP in Netherlands in which both public, learning institutions, and private sector joined forces to support Rwanda in developing a competitive and innovative horticulture sector.

With his chicken farming and the farmers training centre, one of the Rwanda Best Ltd activity is Horticulture focusing in using new technology like Greenhouse.

Greenport Holland International (GHI) as leading the partnership of SMART Horticulture and the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources of Rwanda signed a MoU on December 17, 2013 related to this project. The Rwandese partner of SMART Horticulture is Rwanda Best (RB).
